Laurel's Delights has been somewhat of a widely known secret amongst downtown San Jose afficianados. All the business execs seem to know what I've known for a long time: if you want a healthy, tasty, gourment sandwich, then you go to Laurel's. Their Greek Veggie on foccacia is the best sandwich i've ever had, period, and the rest of their menu is pretty darn good, too! I've been going to Laurel's since early 2000, and the quality has never diminished. Every time I go there I get a consistently great meal and good service. If you're in downtown SJ looking for somewhere to have lunch, i personally consider it a crime if you don't visit Laurel's. And take my advice: try the Greek Veggie!
