Review content:
I'd driven by the place a number of times, and had pretty much decided that it was... ""sketchy""... So what a shock it was to find the best mexican I've had in years inside! Despite the grim exterior, inside lives a helpful fully bilingual staff serving up both authentic and 'americanized' specialities. Try the mulas, the menudo, or a good ol' carne asada burrito. For your picky children, a hamburger or fried chicken. I find many of the mexican restaurants on International daunting - because they are so authentic that I can't find the standard fare. The glory of this place is having both - authentic originals AND standard fare. I'd been missing sit-down mexican restaurants since my move to CA - but no more, I've found my new favorite place! Pros: sit-down or take-out, carne asada, margeritas
