Review content:
I gave them a call to see how much they would charge to turn my rear rotors. When I asked the person that answered the phone he transferred me to someone in the garage (it seemed so from the background noise). I asked him how much it would cost to have my rear rotors turned. I knew it wasn't going to be a good price when he asked me what kind of car it was for - no other place I called ask that and it's not a necessary question unless they want to overcharge you (hmm, he has a bmw, I can charge him more and he'll pay it"".)
Anyways, after I tell him it was for a BMW it took what seemed like forever before he gave me a quote (probably 30-40 secs, which didn't make sense to me then but now thinking back on it was probably because he was looking up what a BMW dealership would charge). He quoted me $110 if they had to take it off my car. I asked how much it would be if I brought just the rotors to them. He hesitated and said ""Uh, $70 I guess"" Crazy when I can buy 2 brand new rotors for about $110.
These guys are crooks. I called Meineke Car Care in Cornelius and they told me they would do both for $25 total. Most places I called would do it for $80 or less if they had to take it off my car. I know prices vary some from garage to garage but this place definitely does not seem very honest. If my car were to break down in front of this place, I would have it towed somewhere else.
