When I looked up and called Summers technologies, I was pleasantly surprised to find Steve willing to come over within a few hours, not days like many in the computer business.
After several hours of non stop work, he was able to resurrect a nearly fatally sick computer for 1/3 of what I would have paid to the ""Geek Squad.""
In addition, he built a brand new Linux based ""super computer"" for my son, from the ground up using premium components, for less than 1/2 the price of a similarly equipped mainstream computer.
Unlike other ""service techs"", plumbers, electricians and such who MARK up the costs of their materials/components, aside from the more than fair labor charge, I paid not one cent more for the components than Steve did. This I KNOW, as I checked online for the identical components.
He has also consulted with me over the phone, and actually performed a quick fix of my daughter's PC remotely for NO charge. (he'll be sorry I mentioned that! LOL)
I would NOT have anyone in my home a 2nd time that was in any manner dishonest the 1st time.
Steve has worked on 2 PC's here. I would ask no one else to care for them.
