Review content:
The drinks are great, the food is ok and the servers are friendly, but when our group had a problem with an error on the bill things turned ugly.
We were charged full-price for a happy hour item that should have been half-price and just needed a simple apology and correction; we received neither. The shift manager stonewalled us and we ended up leaving very upset.
A letter of complaint was written and received by the general manager who promptly contacted us with what we hoped would be a quick resolution. Instead, we heard the same line as the lower manager that there was no error and they were not going to do anything for us. It took some reasoning on our part before a refund was offered, but there was no apology or warm invitation back.
I don't understand how a business, in the struggling River Market area, can afford to upset loyal customers and not care. We won't be going back unless there are some major management changes.
