I've stayed here quite a few times and it was very pleasing especially with the price of the rooms for what you get. A room with a fireplace, jacuzzi, and a view of the ocean for 130 bucks, count me in. When my friend from Washington comes down he always stays here and loves it. I would be hard pressed to find a more reasonable and comfortable place in town.
The highway being in the way of the beach is probably one of the biggest problems here as it would really be nice to just wake up and go to the beach in the morning without the need of putting shoes on, but o well.
If you are in the area I highly recommend the Pacifica Beach Resort, best deal in town

Cons: Highway inbetween the hotel and the beach
