Review content:
For a romantic getaway, I stayed in Cambria but booked a dinner reservation here. I had yet to visit any California vineyards being new in the region. We arrived to the beautiul building which houses the Inn and Dining Room as well as tasting room. Don't be alarmed to see the two old dogs chilling in the foyer, I found it to be very charming. The dining room is decorated beautifully in red and gold tones, fresh flowers every where you look. Only four tables, giving you the most outstanding service and affording you the most romantic, low-key environment. The tasting menu was exquisite, paired perfectly with a selection of Justin wines. My entree was Miso glazed Mahi Mahi, with Lobster tail ravioli, baby carrots, pearl onion and tomato-lobster broth. I must say my mouth was absorbing flavors which pushed automatic aphrodisiac buttons in my brain. Everything about this experience was something to write home about. Our server, Kevin delighted us with his storytelling, knowledge, and humor. Congrats to him, he and his wife are expecting! After dinner we toured the tasting room and got some bottles for the road. I look forward to staying in the Inn next time!
Pros: Beautiful country, decadent dinner, true hospitality that would make Southerners blush!
