If anyone out there has a loved one with an illegal substance or alcohol problem DO NOT TAKE THEM TO SEAFIELD CENTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is a joke and is absolutely horrible. If you have ever had one drink in your life then you are an alcoholic according to there standards, if you have ever smoked an illegal substance even once in your life then you have an addiction according to them. The counselors here are not even qualified to judge a flea! If you are even a few dollars short for the fee they won't let you in to the sessions. After paying promptly for many months my friends credit card was declined this one time and Seafield called him up and told him that if he did not have cash then he chouldn't even bother showing up for group. All these people care about is taking your money. One of the counselors talked about the big beautiful house that the owners of Seafield had and proceeded to talk about all of the nice things that the owners had. Another one of the couselors has a fiance' who is addicted to illegal substances and was just in Newsday recently for attacking an elderly man, is this who you want counseling and judging your loved one?!!! I don't think so!!
