Have you ever seen a mermaid? Today I did. At least that?s what it said on Angela Harrell?s card, co-owner of Hike Bike Kayak Sports along with her very friendly husband, David. That friendliness, charm and humor really make this small company stand out from the crowd of other companies. Despite their adventurousness and fun-loving ways, they are serious about safety and will make sure that whether exploring the sea caves or paddling out miles into the deep blue sea to whale watch from kayaks, that all of their customers have a safe and fun adventure to remember for the rest of their lives.
What kind of adventure do you want? Come back every day and kayak, snorkel, bike, surf or hike. They have provided tours and rentals for all ages and levels of experience for over 11 years now. Fluent in Spanish and English and providing some of the lowest prices accessories on the strip, they will even provide free customer lockers and kayak return pickup. Sign me up! The kayak is much heavier after you?ve been paddling around beautiful La Jolla Cove for hours. Open year round, 9am to sunset.
