So anyone looking to buy tile or flooring STAY AWAY FROM HORIZON TILE & STONE on Tremainsville , By far one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with. I dealt with a guy named Tom & since day one I was annoyed , I really tried to be patient & give this guy the benefit of the doubt but he just got worse the more I dealt with him. He never returned calls when he said he would , he ordered the wrong tile well ordered the right but picked up the wrong stuff, never checked it, its taken me 2 weeks to even get a refund, his kid runs around the store when were trying to talk business. he is the worst business owner i have ever dealt with & i DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT STORE AT ALL!!! STAY AWAY , I hear if you want good service go to Midwest tile. This is the reason I do things on my own, you just cant trust or rely on anyone anymore he is a poor excuse for a owner. GET SOME DAMN HELP if you can manage your business, get your kid in Daycare for goodness sake. There is so much more to this that has lead me to bash that place its really a shame , I usually don't bash a store but I am going to file a better business bureau complaint. SAD SAD SAD!!! POOR EXCUSE FOR A BUSINESS WITH NO REGARDS TO THERE CUSTOMERS!!! Man I could go on & on but I wont. DO NOT USE HORIZON TILE & STONE!HERES THE STORY!!! I needed the small 4x4 travertine tile for my shower floor they lay better then using big ones on the floor & I orderd just 10 extra of the big 12x12 tile just in case I was cutting it close with what I bought, long story short I pick up a dialysis ctr across the street so just thought its closer then driving out to Reynolds rd to Midwest, anyway I ordered the floor tile the guy said Ill call you when they come in he was supposed to call me on Thursday before my vacation, he never did I called him he said oh you can pick them up Friday I said perfect ill be right there by your store & grab them. Well Friday came around I got to my stop & seen his shop was closed I called him he said oh sorry I had a install to do & its taking longer then I thought I said well what about my tile you can grab it later , I told him I dont have time , I had a guy coming over to do the pan for the shower he said ILl call you & drop them off, he finally calls at 10 at night & said sorry Ive been busy can I drop them off in the morning I told him he better because I need them ASAP. So Sat morning comes around he drops them off for me I get them in the house as soon as he leaves I open the boxes the floor tiles were correct but the big 12x12`s were wrong.So I called him immediately & told him whats up he said oh man im sorry ill get it fixed for you first thing Monday morning , Monday came around no call , Tuesday no call , Wednesday no call at this point I was done tiling ended up with 8 extra tile lol then called him Friday morning & asked did you get my 10 tile he said oh man sorry i forgot all about those & been so busy I said well just give me a refund. So I drove the tile to his shop & he said he has to get a check from the tile company in order to give me my refund & all this mumbo jumbo about restocking fee`s I told him your the one who got the wrong tile not me, so anyway Monday comes around no call Tuesday no call about my refund Wednesday no call finally I have to call him again he said oh ya I have your check ILl put it in the shop mail box for ya Friday when your here,So Friday comes around I call ahead & he said oh sorry man I forgot & IM at the dr`s office with my daughter Ill be at the shop around 1-2pm thats when I blew up man & its been this way since day one. The guy is not a business man at all , the customer is not number one & I will bash him to the end of the earth for POOR POOR POOR customer service.
