Review content:
I have adopted from Molly's Place on 3 separate occasions and I have never had a bad experience going to mollys place. Each and every time i walk in im greeted with a smile and a load of wagging tails. My last rescue Fitzy was pointed out to me by the owner, who asked if i was up for a challenging dog. They said he was pulled from a different shelter who had deemed him to death if mollys place couldnt take him immediately. He was at Molly's for about a year and had he a lot of issues with biting. He attacked their feet when they moved behind the desk, picked up, trying to take something from him that he shouldnt have had... you name it.
I hesitated at first, but the owner reassured me that if in any case i could take him home, give him a month, and if it didnt work out i could bring him back. So, thats what i did.
In a normal home, he would be the worst dog anyone ever knew. He was hard to house break, he bit me and my friends, he couldnt be in a crate but HE WAS THE BEST THING I WAS EVER GIVEN IN MY WHOLE LIFE. Within a month i had gained his trust, i could touch him all-over, take anything away from him. We had bonded. 4 years later he was diagnosed with heart failure, and passed away a couple of months later.
I have to thank Mollys place for their valiant effort in saving a dog deemed for death due to aggressive issues. If it wasnt for their big hearts i would have never met Fitzy.
I dont look over dog who have ""issues"" anymore, because sometimes they are the greatest ones of all.
Thank you Molly's Place, for giving me your worst dog and saving him from a early death. I know i will be back someday for another ""terror"" that you might have in your midst.
