We selected this restaurant purely for convenience one Saturday night, but was pleased with the quality of food and service at That's Amore. Granted the place is overly decorated with the typical ""italian"" photographs and the restaurants many local accolades, but the dark wood panels and leaded glass makes the place feel like a cozy old style family restaurant. All the dishes are HUGE. Even the ""small"" salad can be shared by 2 people at least; the Salad Romano was excellent. My tip to diners would be that each order of anything can be split by 2 or 3 people... or you will have a lot of food to take home.... which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The prices are typical of any casual restaurant (e.g., entrees under $15 or $20). I wouldn't come here on a first date (it's too loud and lacks any ""wow"" factor) but it's the kind of place that welcomes big groups, families, and hungry diners seeking old style Italian comfort food. Pros: welcomes large groups, comfortably casual Cons: long wait on Saturday if a reservation isn't made
