Review content:
I've been searching for a local preschool to put my 2 children in. I visited Peppermint Tree and the upstairs seems to be okay. Very mildly decorated, older toys, and ragged looking materials...but the children looked oksy. When I was brought downstairs, I was shocked. Going down the steps, the place smelled of cat urine! I don't know what it was but simply smelled horribly. The teachers were swamped with what looked to be a LARGE number of children. There was no way I'd let my child be one in that group. There were only 2 teacher, both young and very pleasant, but alone and handling too many kids. I don't know how they handle being in that smell all day but 10 minutes and I wanted out! I would not refer this place to anyone and definately am considering calling the board of health.
