Review content:
Dr. Mech should be stripped of his license. For three years I was in his care and saw his incompetent and uncaring PAs 50x more than I ever saw him. He touts himself as a Christian Psychiatrist and is sought out for speaking engagements in the mental health community. He has a great deal of knowledge and is admittedly very intelligent. However, his practice is unethical. As a fifth medication was being pushed on me, I finally thought I should look up his records with the texas state board of medical examiners. Not surprisingly I found a host of others who were over medicated in dangerously high dosages of ""medications"" that were not even specified for their presenting problem. No doubt his prescribing these meds is in line with his research interests. His patients are literally his experiments. Do not go to this man. He will waste your time, money, and put your life at risk.
Cons: Wreckless practices
