Well, I use to like pier 1. They do have great stuff and nice furniture. But one thing I don't like is being discriminated for who I am and what I look like. The first time I bought an expensive chair and went to go pick it up, I waited in line for 15 minutes and not once the two old ladies looked at me and gave me customer service. There was no one in line and I even came up face to face and she took the white person behind me and another person dressed nicely strolling around. I mean I was only 17 but I didn't care or noticed until my family saw what was going on and said something. This wasn't the first time it happened to me in pier 1. I mean I was wearing very casual mix match clothes because I was in a rush, my mom is white and my dad is Hawaiian, i just turned out to be darker. My family noticed how mean they were towards me and how they ignored me. Customer service is real bad, but products are great...I just don't feel like walking inside anymore. Pros: Great Furniture and products Cons: Bad customer service
