Review content:
We were seated promptly on a Friday night; however, no one was there. We ordered the tabouli, Greek salad, hummus, gyros, and falafel--as vanilla as Greek gets. The tabouli was entirely made of parsley! The hummus tasted canned and the Greek salad was all iceberg lettuce, except for the cubes of ""feta"" cheese that were actually mozzerella. The gyros plate had 4 pieces of pita bread, a cd-sized pita cut into quarters and the cucumber dressing was ranch. To top it off, it took us 2 hours to get our food. Athen's was a true disappointment! When we got there, the atmosphere took us by surprise because it was really a nice garden setting with fountains, an airy canopy of banana leaves, and sweet sounds of chirping from the birds the owner keeps throughout the restaurant. Halfway through our meal we couldn't wait to leave. Pass on Athen's. Pros: Garden Setting Cons: Food, Service, Parking
