I brought my 5th wheel trailer in for new tires. Chris, the technician working on my trailer, told me that he had personally experienced failures with the tires being removed from my trailer, and he suggested that we look at the spare too. He pulled the spare from under the trailer, and we found that the sidewall had blown out. I ordered another tire to replace the spare right away. Chris certainly saved me from pulling the spare later as a best case or from possibly being stuck without a spare. He also saved me from spending the time and money to try to find a replacement spare while on the road.
