Review content:
I've been visiting Calistoga for years and it is truly one of my very favorite places to go for a relaxing get-a-away weekend. Because there are limited restaurants in town, I like to have breakfast, lunch & dinner at the same restaurant, at different times and visits, to get a good feel for it. I was really disappointed and frankly surprised at both the service and food at the Hydro Bar & Grill. I have been there for breakfast/brunch and it was really good, however dinner was a completely different story. We sat down immediately and ready to start our weekend with a cocktail. We both ordered one of their ""specialty"" drinks which was their version of a ?Mojito?. It tasted as though it was thrown together without any thought or perhaps I was having an ""off"" day? One word to the bartender only ? ?muddle?.
Pros: Great for breakfast/brunch
Cons: Service could be better, presentation counts!
