Review content:
i've seen some great [free!] shows at the lucky cat--anything from friends' college-rock type bands to breakcore djs--& although they don't have it anymore, there used to even be a weekly breakcore night on mondays. mixed drinks are reasonably priced at 6-7$ & their specialty cocktail list is extensive & contains things that actually taste good [!]. atmosphere is nice & comfortable, there are cushioned seats / tables in the front & a stage area in the back with stools at the bar & smaller tables/chairs along the wall with room to dance if there is a band or dj playing. it's never too crowded, though is sometimes a bit empty, & i've met some great people there--incredibly unpretentious given the neighborhood though of course everyone's still an Artist. highly recommended. Pros: good music, good drinks, unpretentious Cons: sometimes slow
