Review content:
In my opinion, this school will tolerate violence and bullying. A student was severely injured by another student who has a history of violence and inappropriate conduct. The principal chose to bend the rules and give the violent child a punishment that is far less than the GCSD minimum consequence for violence, and then punished the child who was assaulted for ""making a statement"" that offended the bully and for ""causing"" the attack. There is NO excuse for any student to put their hands on another student, for any reason- a message that the principal failed to emphasize to the students. To add insult to injury, the principal attempted to force the injured child to ""make friends"" with the bully. This is outrageous. This school lacks strong leadership and ethics, and fails to uphold its own policies. This situation was handled very poorly. I'm quite surprised, as this school had such an excellent reputation....
Pros: Great reputation?
Cons: Weak leadership, ethics
