I've done a fair amount of recording at Grand Street this past year, tracking trombone for a bunch of different musical projects, and I have to say that it is one of my favorite places to record. Ken has fantastic ears and ideas and he works SO FAST. I probably end up recording what would take 90 min or even two hours in about an hour while working with Ken and it always sounds great. There is never any waiting for him to set things up or find the right spot to cue you in which lets you just concentrate on making music (and that also makes things much cheaper for whoever is paying for the studio time... more bang for your buck... you can't argue with that!). Highly recommended!
