All seemed lost.
Our daughter was a visitor to the USA from the UK. She suddenly had need of a chemist to buy sanitary towels, and in her desperation slilghtly exceeded the speed limit. Our dayghter was pulled over by the Highway Patrol who were quite immune to the mittigating circumstances and issued her a speeding penallty charge notice (citation). She could not attend court for the hearing as required because the hearing date was after her return to the UK. She had tried to advise the court accordingly but the recorded messeages seemed to preclude any contact with a human being. She was not aware of the LA procedures and soon found herself being required to pay bail money or be subject to a custodial sentence. This is where Attorney Mark Rosenfeld came in who was recommended as an expert in these cases by close US friends of mine. He took the whole case over after scrutiny of the original papers that had been scanned and sent over to him form the UK. Our dayghter felt that she could never risk future US visits for fear of incarcaration. He played the US legal sysytem to perfection for almost a year before managing to get the case dismissed due lack of evidence, Our daughter is now in the clear and she can visit the US without fear. Mark Rosenfeld refused any professional fee payment and looked after our case as if we were his own family. Attorney Mark Rosenfeld is a truly rare, caring, and delightful person whose skill with the LA legal system is second to none. I would say that if he cant get you off, then nobody can, and he is the absolute antithesis of the stereotypal LA attorney because he has a sympathetic heart and soul. He is the perfect ambassador for US justice as perceived by an overseas visitor. God Bless him.
