I live in Cantera Apartments, managed by Pillar Communities, and having lived in apartments since I was 14 years old, I have to say that after living in apartments in 6 different states, I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY IN MY LIFE!!!
The management won't fix anything, but they'll look me in the eye and tell me I have ""unrealistic expectations"" of something as simple as a treadmill after I've told them that it doesn't run longer than 3:30 MINUTES!!!
I've been threatened with Criminal Trespassing if I go complain about it again, so I can't go in the office. That strips me of certain amenities, and they won't respond to a letter that they received certified mail. They've attempted to fix the treadmills AGAIN, and they STILL don't work, and their lawyer will send certified mail that contains petty, childish statements. I CAN'T GET ANY RESPONSE FROM ANYONE!!! I'm basically trapped paying rent and the management won't accept responsibility for anything.
Between the management Pillar Communities employs, and the ancillary personnel they hire, once you've signed the lease YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN!!!
Pros: Your lease will be up sooner or later.
Cons: Until your lease is up, you're stuck.
