Review content:
Lots of the residents in my building appear to be undergraduate students, or very, very young graduate students. Beware-perhaps NOT the best place to be if you are a serious student who wants plenty of peace and quiet to study. The quality of the craftmanship of my apartment is very SHODDY. Not sure there is a 90 degree angle in the place. Called to have the shower fixed three months ago: still waiting on that. Horrible rotten egg smell most nights from either the fertilizer plant right around the corner (didn't see that behind the forest when I came to look at the apt), or from the waste treatment plant just north of the apartment complex (at least I think that's what it is according to GoogleEarth-also didn't see that). Noise: walls VERY thin. As in, can hear people talking beside me on both sides and above. Safety: iffy. Complex had four daytime robberies just two weeks ago. Parking: meh. Appearance: great on the outside, so-so on the inside. Office staff: meh. Maintenance: arbitrary. Got my sink drains fixed right away, but still waiting for that shower from three months ago. Condition of unit: lots of ""soggy/mushy"" spots on the bathroom wall. Lots of ""soft"" spots on the floors. I'm certain the sub-floor is rotting in the bathroom-the floor totally slopes and bows. Overall rating: Just so-so overpriced frat-boy haven.
Pros: Close to beautiful walking trail along Mississippi river.
Cons: Do yourself a favor and shop around.
