Review content:
These are the rudest people I have ever encountered in my life. There reponse to this is that they work full time jobs and volunteer here. Do you have to be paid an income in order to be decent to people! They only take an online application which is very short, and leave no place for comments or details. It then takes forever for them to send you a one line email telling you they are sorry you are not a good fit. But don't call up there because they treat you like an absolute idiot, and you're completely inconveniencing them. They have animals at there shelter for 5 or more years! They explain this because they say that they have to have the perfect fit for each animal, but they don't ever meet you. I understand the need to find a loving family for these animals so they are not abused or neglected, but you can't tell me a decent prospective owner has not come along in years to adopt these animals. I sent an email back inquiring why I wasn't a good fit, they stated that the dog was small and needed someone who could be available to take them out to the restroom. OMG! I am a stay at home mother of two, my husband works full time, I am at home all the time other than a local errand or two occasionally. Total Cop-out excuse. What was it real reason? I decided to do the right thing and continue to seek adopting, I rescued a 10 month old Daschund from being euthenized at our local shelter. Best decision I could have made :)
