Review content:
The police department is out of control here. They run stop signs, stop you for minor things such as an misadjusted headlight and don't use common sense.Their attitude can be described as ""we are the heroes of this town"". Can't really blame them. The city council does things like sponsor ""Adopt a cop"" (You adopt a cop and pray for them. Yes, really! :) ) and ""Shop with a hero"". Feedback given to the chief of police to his heroes doing things they love to punish citizens for get you answers such as ""What is your motivation?"" and ""A civilian oversight board is not needed because we have a form citizens can fill out to complain about a cop"". Guess who follows up on such complaints? :) Is anyone else living in Beaumont feeling the same way or had the same experiences?
