Review content:
We recently discovered this gem of a place in the heart of Baltimore, very near the Washington monument with tons of other restaurants. The restaurant is now under new management and has a new executive chef, and boy does that make a great difference. The food is just outstanding. We tried the tandoori lamb chops for the main entree and it was perfectly cooked in the tandoor oven with the right mix of spices, and was succulent and juicy. Vegetarian dishes, especially Saag Paneer and Tadka Daal, were the best we have ever had. The food is fresh and the service is wonderful. Haven't tried their lunch buffet but while there on a Sunday, the buffet spread was just fabulous and the place was crowded. In other words, the word must have gotten around.
Pros: Simply the best indian food in Baltimore
Cons: Parking, but I understand they have valet parking available now
