Review content:
I was never a fan of going out to eat at Italian restaurants. It seemed as though they were always either sub-par or ridiculously expensive, sometimes both. That was before I started coming to Piatto Di.
I first started going there for lunch. Their lunch specials are reasonably priced, and their service is so fast that you never have to worry about getting back to work on time. After a few months of lunching there once a week I started craving their food for dinner as well.
The dinner prices are more expensive, but not prohibitively expensive. Plus, I was delighted to see that you can bring your own bottles of wine in to drink. As always, the wait staff is extremely attentive.
I would be remiss to go without mentioning my favorite dishes. For lunch, I would not pass up the whole wheat linguine. My wife, however, would recommend the ravioli with meat sauce at both lunch and dinner - I must admit, it's the best meat sauce (rich and sweet) I have ever tried. Entrees come with one of the best house salads in town, and the bread with dipping sauce is top notch.
I can't say enough good things about Piatto Di!
