The sales and management are very nice.I used the recomended store installer.I paid for a pre inspection and floor estimate. Our home is a raised home with wooden floors. We also pointed out floor dips and were told they would be taken care of.Our first floor was a wooden floor. Our first problem to much material was figured.Around $1000.00 to much.If not for a friend this would not have been discovered. The money was refunded. The wooden floor had cracks, gaps, creaked and groaned. Was scratched by the installer putting appliances in place. The repairs were poorly done making the floor look worse. We had to get with store management and had a professional inspector inspect all.The inspector agreed and new tile flooring in lue of the more expensive floors were agreed to.We were not told at the original sale that the wooden floors were not sealed,so not a good idea for the kitchen. We were told by the inspector to get a good job we needed to level the house better.Even though we had pointed out all of the flaws in our flooring prior to installation..We paid an additional$4000.00 to another contractor to level the floors even more. The floor installer came back out prior to the second floor being installed. He indicated these additional repairs were fine. After 1 week the flloors are creaking and making cracking sounds. While the installation was being done my contractor questioned roofing nails being used to shoot the backing down.He also questioned if enough of the latex modified thin set was being used.He also questioned the spacing on the nails. As well as no attempt to level any part of the floor..All were talked about on a 3 way conversation at the time of installation. No attempt to level the floor was made.We still have dips and an uneven floor. This job has been going on for several months. We are hoping this ordeal is over soon.
