Review content:
Unprofessional is an understatement. Dr Richmond treated me as a therapist. He spent many sessions getting information on my situation and almost did not talk. He then terminated me saying that we were not able to start treatment. He wrote an extremely rude letter in which he revealed all the pent-up aggression that he should have been processing during those sessions. He is narcissistic. His training in psychoanalysis did not do him any good - he misses dynamic opportunities, he does not practice in an analytical fashion. In fact, he does not practice at all - he just collects money. All of those failures were happening during a critical time in my life so the outcome was very very sad for me. The morale: run from Dr Richmond as fast as you can.
Pros: very easy to get an initial appt - does he have patients?..
Cons: rudeness, incompetence, no investment in your wellbeing, ego
