Review content:
I had dinner there for the third time last night in as many years. The food and wine were good as expected. My date had the short ribs which were tender and delicious. I tried the sand dabs which were just, well, good. The biggest problem with the evening was having to wait half an hour to be seated even though I had made 8:30pm dinner reservations. Yes, it was a Friday night and it was busy, but that's why we make reservations, right? It was particularly annoying to see the maitre d' seat two other couples ahead of us who seemingly arrived after we did. That's just downright disrespectful in my opinion. I had to remind the hostess twice that we were not yet seated. If I had been there with friends instead of a date, I would've certainly given the maitre d' a piece of my mind. All in all it was still a pleasant experience which was soured just enough to prompt me to write a review, which I never do on this site. Make your decisions accordingly.
Pros: Nice dining room, good food and wine, reasonable prices, fairly inexpensive valet service.
Cons: Long wait even with a reservation.
