I was in a wedding at Santalline B&B this past weekend and I have to start by saying the ceremony and reception turned out beautifully. This was WITHOUT the help of the owners in any way, shape or form. As a bridesmaid, I was out setting up tables and cleaning up the owners dog crap at 4pm. The ceremony was at 5pm! To me, if you own a B&B and are going to rent it out to couples for receptions, etc, one would think you would make sure the grounds are clean and well kept. Neither of these things were done. Not to mention we were basically thrown out at 9pm!! While the owner was stealing the left over alcohol that was brought by the wedding party to serve to the guests! She even tried to steal decorations that did not belong to her!!!! She was rude to the bride and the guests at the reception, all the while drinking and eating!!! My suggestion is there are nicer, more professsionally run establishments in the Roanoke area that would be much more adept at catering to a wedding parties needs. Don't waste your time or money here!!!!
