Review content:
Both of my children (10, 12) experienced a desire to take a musical instrument after watching ""How it's Made"" and becoming very interested in music. My daughter went with the piano while my son opted for guitar. Both have been in choir but other than that had no musical experience to speak of. Paul D'Adamo and his instructors were very welcoming and provided an excellent atmosphere to learn an instrument. Paul is very flexible and offers to either have lesson at his Las Colinas studio or travel to our house in Frisco. I am sometimes out of town on business but with enough notice the teachers are available to visit my home to instruct my kids so that they don't miss out because of my busy schedule. The lessons are fairly priced with the quality of instruction and teachers. The instructors play the way they teach and not by some generic method like they teach in the public school. My children have been in lessons for a year now and have improved vastly since they started. I would recommend the D'Adamo School of Performing Arts & Private Music Lessons to anyone interested in starting their child in lessons (or themselves --I'm actually thinking of taking up the drums myself.) An excellent staff and very flexible policies make this experience well worth it.
Pros: high quality, flexible scheduling, works well with students, 1-on-1 instruction, a large array of musical equipment
