Recovery, Inc. is a self-help method for all those who may have received a dire diagnosis from the psychiatric profession as well as for those who simply need to learn how to cope better with the stresses and strains of ordinary life. There are 26 in-person meetings every week in New York City. For more info, call (718) 241-2220. Starting September 12, 2007, RI will host a bi-monthly telephone orientation session. These calls will be held on the second Wed. of every month at 8pm and on the fourth Wed. at 12 noon. Dial 712-775-7100 and then dial the access code: 756760#. That's it! Of course, everyone is very welcome to attend the in-person meetings, too. Check it out. There may be a meeting right in your neighborhood. By the way, RI meetings are free.
