Review content:
I have dined at Gaetano's many times and it is always a treat. Sam, the owner, and his sister Gay, the head chef, go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience! Don't be confused by its location on the Southmoore Golf Course. The public is welcome here and so are the golfers! It's a relatively small restaurant but they have a really beautiful room for banquets and private parties too. In the winter they light the fireplace and in the summer they have patio seating, overlooking the course. It's beautiful! The food is simply amazing. They have incredible spicy lentil with sausage soup, mussels marinara, coconut shrimp, and crab stuffed mushrooms (sometimes!). The rigatoni alla vodka, artichoke chicken and eggplant rollatini are some of my favorites, and their seafood is perfectly done. You get so much food for the price! They also have a fully stocked bar with their own cocktails and you can get wine by the bottle or the glass. I especially love their Sunday brunch because they will make you omelettes to order and they have a ton of lunch/dinner food out there too. Once in a while they will have musicians, which is always really fun. I can't say enough about this wonderful place!!!
Pros: delicious food, great service, owners are friendly, ambience
Cons: could be hard to find if you don't know it's on the golf course
