My friend told me about this today and I had to comment, this is not how to treat riders. A friend who is still on the road, driving from Ohio to Ca, from Ca up the coast to take a Northern route back, lost his shifting linkage and made a temp repair. He stopped into Redwood Harley-Davidson of Eureka, Ca for a 15 min repair and was told he'd have to wait a day! They were actually servicing drop offs and blowing him off 3000 miles from home! He ended up calling D&S Harley Davidson of Medford Oregon who told him they had the part and would do whatever they could to help! He made it there and 20 minutes and only 19.00 later he was on the road! He also met a rider from Vancouver who mentioned the service manager at Redwood Harley-Davidson by name told a similar story. D & S is obviously a Rider's best friend. They helped out a guy far from home and put him on the road without blowing his budget! I think they deserve mega-kudos!
