Review content:
While the prices of Argyle's wines are higher than the average stuff you'd find at Whole Foods or World Market, you definitely get what you pay for. From what I've read, Argyle has some of the highest rated wines to ever come out of Oregon, including the highest rated sparkling wine ever made in the USA. It's hard to criticize excellence - they obviously know what they're doing and they do it well.
The tasting room is beautiful (century-old house, fully redone inside). I've stopped in a few times with family, and each visit was very pleasant. Everyone working there seems to actually enjoy being there, and they know a lot about their wines and how they're made.
The last time I was there, I was able to try 5 different wines (various pinot noir, chardonnay and a sparkling) for about $10, which was very fair compared to other tasting rooms in Dundee. Again, the wine is tops, so it's worth trying.
Pros: Superb Pinot Noir, great sparkling wines
Cons: crowded weekend parking
