Review content:
I purchased a new Ford Escape from King's Ford. Within 660 miles on the car, my headlight filled with water and shut off. I figured, it happens. I took it back to the dealer and they replaced the whole unit, no problem. However, on my next oil change, the mechanic pointed out to me that my plastic grill was broken, that it looked like someone had tightened the screw too tight on the grill. He asked me if I had recent service done, and I said yes, as a matter of fact, the headlight on the same side as the broken part of the grill. When I took the Escape back to the dealer, they told me that it wasn't their fault, it wasn't covered under warranty, and they weren't going to do anything about it. To this day, at 33,000 miles, my grill still dangles by one screw.
Pros: large selection, low interest finance, sales
Cons: service dept, warranty
