Review content:
I dropped off items for Summer consignment in June of 2007 and it was my first time consigning items with Kids Korner. There were immediate signs of problems during my 'consultation' on the items that I had brought in. Let me just say that I have consigned plenty of other places and knew what to expect. First, they did not write down or list any of the items that were accepted for consignment. Then I signed the contract and some other papers and was not provided copies of anything. Second, I had items that were not accepted for consignment and was told they were either ""too worn"" or ""would be better in the fall"" were a total load of lies. The items that were deemd ""too worn"" were very much on par with items currently on the shelves/what I had seen there in the past. Since I had consigned in the past, I knew what items would be acceptable/unacceptable. The other items that I was told ""would be better for the fall season"" were little boys dress shoes, in black and brown. Your basic loafers and tie up shoes, both brand new. Again, there were already pairs of these shoes out to be sold. I would have just prefer they tell the truth about why they wouldn't accept the items instead of lying.
