Review content:
I just moved to the Hixson area and needed to find a local pediatrician, after having been with same pediatrician for over 10 years where I moved from. My 7 year old daughter needed some care, so I called and asked about seeing a new patient. After putting me on hold, the receptionist (I guess) came back on and proceeeded to give me the littany of rules, after confiming I had insurance of course, hurdles, etc. and to call back he nexr business day. The propogated medical environment of gatekeeper privilege of accepting new patients, when care is needed, is troubling. Especially, when you have insurance. Pros: Conveniently located Cons: Unfriendly office staffer on approach as new patient
