Review content:
At first I was skeptical simply because I did not want to pay hard earned money on a program that I wasn't positive would develop useful/marketable skills. However, after taking the leap and enrolling I soon realized that the class sizes were not over crowded, the bar area for practice was very much like a real bar in an employment setting, the instructors were very knowledgeable, and the coursework was legit!
I say this because I actually was a bartender during my college days (roughly 9 years ago) and I still learned new skill in this course, which corrected methods that I was incorrectly taught back in the day. The school even allows current and past alumni to come in between 2pm-6pm Monday thru Friday to practice their skills learned.
As one of the posters stated, the school is very up front that taking the course doesn't guarantee employment - in fact it can't because state law forbids it; however, they do offer good job placement resources but it also takes one's own initiative to land a job.
