Set in the heart of old Mansfield, there is a place that will take you directly from highway traffic, to old world Italy. It's not so much the look of the storefront, or the decor when you go in, but the fact that the people who run the place have thick Italian accents, and prefer to be called Mom and Pop...that I haven't had a menu in over 3 years, and that the food is made with an authentic love of the old country. They are brimming with regulars, you bring your own wine, and eat very hearty portions of delectable food, for a very small price. The wait staff hasn't varied much at all in the past 5 years, since I've been going there about once a week, and I love that I can go there whenever I feel disconnected and take a breath. I absolutely love this place!
Pros: awesome atmosphere, authentic italian foo, amazing prices
Cons: next to a RR track, little out of the way
