It has come to my personal attention that the berkeley county jail has it's own rules.Trust me,you do not want to be in this terrible facility.But in case you have no choice,be prepared.The officers who work there all make up their own little rules.And the bad part of this is,they are getting away with it.I thought that we all are endtitled to a phone call.""Not"".If you have a medical condition,you better pray that you are getting out quick,because medical assistance will be Denied.Locked up in a small Holding Cell,the Toilet is nasty,the floor was not cleaned,the smell was bad.If an Inmate files a complaint,everyone does suffer and inmates that are in the same block with the person who filed the complaint all will go into""Lockdown"".Your rights are taken away.We need to change this.We need to have Trained Officers in a facility like that,and not Officers who would sell their own mother just to get a kick out of some satisfaction,just because they can.All the so called Officers in there need to go back to school.But I think that these Officers only went to Walmart to get their degree.Police Brutality in the Jail.Berkeley County Detention Center SC needs some major Officer training.
