Review content:
Our family recently relocated to the Syracuse area and while looking for a property to rent, we came across this property management business. The first red flag came when they showed us a filthy house, holes in walls, extremely dirty carpet with questionable marks and all of the appliances missing. Second flag came when we contacted them again, about the same house asking questions like: are the carpets going to get clean, the holes on the walls filled and painted over and if appliances were going to be installed in the house, we never got straight answers, however they wanted us to come and put a deposit on the house. Then they called us again and told us everything would get fixed in the house if we went and dropped a deposit.... the 3rd red flag was when we received another phone call telling us that another couple had put a deposit on the house, but since we were the first ones to look at it, if gave them a deposit the house would be ours.....
In my experience renting and owning houses, I have never dealt with a company like this one. We ended up going with a different company that gave us straight answers from the beginning. The only positive thing I have to say about Cny Property Management is that their secretary is really nice. But as their business transactions... very questionable.
Pros: Friendly secretary
Cons: too many red flags
