Dr. Baum is one of the most professional physicians I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is extremely well respected by the insurance industry because he does not submit ""junk"" for approval. I had a very difficult situation where I need a 35-year-old silicone implant removed as per the recommendation of my primary physician and my rheumatologist. Upon thorough examination Dr. Baum agreed. The dilemma was that my insurance company would not cover the removal, despite two letters written by my primary physician. Dr. Baum wrote a detailed letter to the insurance company and was able to get the surgery approved.
