You can scrap the atmosphere and the celebrity rolls anytime when your talking freshness and sticking to the basics. Sashimi here is the thickest and freshest you will find; the meat literally melts in your mouth. The portions are good sized, reasonably priced and the menu offers good variety even for the not so daring. Its a small local place without a lot of fan fare, but then again I am not there for the interior decorating or the scene. It's got a nice easy feel to it, great sake menu, and go figure lets me create atmosphere for a change whether it be friends or the one I love. Simply said its a great place if you want to eat and not be scene. Pros: Food & Sake Cons: Parking is always a challenge on Union.
