This Monday 03NOV08 lunch after the KSU@KU bloodbath was sensational....also kudos to our waitron Sean for all aspects of his service. I chose the Memphis-style pork sandwich with coleslaw, sauced with their stronger sauce, and a side dish of baked beans. The Boulevard unfiltered wheat ale was insipid. The coleslaw sandwich garnish was dryish, almost insipid too, without a cabbage zip as though it had been scooped from a large Costco container. However I came here for a final BBQ transfusion before returning to the salmon-glutted Pacific Nortwest; I was not disappointed!! The baked beans had been long-cooked reducing the sauce plus their flavors and had been infused with smoked meat shards intensely flavored. The sauce was robust including a soft ""hot"" which complimented the meat. The meat serving was HUGE as well as the rich, full indepth smoking accented the lush pork. One cannot find such an almost religious experience in Seattle. Price performance for the entire meal was very good. I look forward to returning to this part ot the Jayhawk nation to explore this menu in depth. Pros: service, pork, stronger sauce, easy parking Cons: coleslaw
