Businiess name:  Ultra Violet Cafe

If you need to grade papers, write thank you cards, or send a flurry of emails, this is the place to go. Have a house coffee and a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie to satisfy a sweet tooth, or a grilled panini and a cup of soup for a light dinner before the movie. This Delaware Avenue gem is a real find. Run by the super cool owners of the Spectrum movie theater, the cafe has the same funky, local charm as the cinema next door. Stretch your legs in between cups o' jo, and scan the artwork on the wall or browse the ""take-one/leave-one"" shelf of used books. I can't believe it doesn't win Best Coffeehouse/Cafe award year after year. Pros: wonderful service, great coffee, local art, free wi-fi Cons: little pricey
