2/23/07 First off being a local to Vegas it is important to get there fast. The only way to do it is to valet to the North side off of Mandalay Bay Road. Go up the escalator and turn right. This is a very popular place so make time for a wait. My first impression was good walking in. There is a nice long bar to the left with lots of LCDs showing ESPN. There are plenty of booths and tables and the service staff were milling about carrying orders loaded with fries and onion rings. The acoustics are rather good for the amount of people dining. The environment is inviting enough for you to not want to leave. The options for picking your burger are the best I've seen. Four buns types, three primary meats, and at least 20 toppings. I went for the classic burger,$12.75, with Ridgefield farm beef, cheddar, and bacon. The burger was an inch thick and was not too juicy or too dry. It was cooked perfectly to order, medium well, so that it was just pink in the middle. This burger I'd like to dub the Goldilock's because 'It was just right'. The fries were very bountiful - at least two large orders at most other places. You can substitute sweet potato fries or onion rings since they sell on the side for $2.55. Service was great and served by a hottie. What more could you ask for except her phone number. Guys - this is the best overall burger I've been to in Las Vegas. It is not the best burger I've had, but when taking into account the options, the quality, atmosphere, and service - it is the model for how a burger place should be run.
Pros: hamburger, atmosphere
Cons: wait
