Review content:
I have consigned with this store since it opened several years ago. It has changed ownership 2-3 times that I am aware of and with each change, service has gotten worse. I will tell you now that I will take my clothes to consign elsewhere. The last several time I have brought clothes in, I've felt like I have practically had to beg them to take my items. They were behind on getting clothes out on the floor as the racks were practically empty. It is not the customers fault (and yes, consigners are customers too, because without us, you would not have a store) that the employees can't get the clothes out on the floor quick enough. That is a staffing problem. I don't think the consigners should be made to feel like we are a burden and treated rudely. The last time I tried to bring spring/ summer clothes in, I was told they are no longer accepting clothes until further notice. I have a marketing background and understand supply and demand, but maybe they need to restrict the number of consigners they have. They are going to lose loyal consigners with there current policy. My comment to the store employee was that I would try to find somewhere else to take my items - her comment was ""good luck."" My suggestion to anyone in Georgetown looking to consign childrens clothing, etc. is to go to Cedar Park or Round Rock. It's not that much further and at least you will be treated like a vital part of the store and not waste your time.
